Freshwater is less buoyant than saltwater, and our waves are often less steep and powerful than the long-period groundswell waves of large oceans… Our boards are designed to thrive in the unique conditions of our region, taking these factors into account. That said, they’re made to migrate and are well suited to fly down salty faces as well!

Yes! Tim takes great pride in his work, and builds every board with care and meticulous craftsmanship at his workshop in Holland, Michigan. From shaping to glassing, each Migration board is a one-of-a-kind work of art.
